HazelGold works closely with its customers to ensure that it provides exactly what is required. Whilst guidance can be offered, it is the responsibility of the customer to provide the basic text, content information for the site.

A large array of technology is available which enables sites with dynamic content, on-line forms, acrobat documents, databases and other advanced features to be provided, but only if required. Most needs are for static pages providing attractively presented information specific to your company.

Your company may have logos or styles which it uses on brochures, catalogues, advertising, letterheads, vehicles and shop fronts, which you want to have reflected in your web site. This is no problem. Alternatively HazelGold can design a new logo for your use.

For larger sites a paper will be written giving details of the requirements crystallised from any information provided. This will form the basis of the web design. For smaller sites, less formal, though equally thorough preparation will be carried out.

Once the approach to the design has been agreed, it is possible to register the domain name and publish a holding page. This can contain a brief summary of the site, sufficient information to draw in search engines.

During the design process pages may be published to a test site for inspection by the customer and testing. Once all the material has been assembled on-line, it will be subjected to test software which will check all code styles and links reporting any potential problems.

The next stage is to publish the site to the new domain name and run through all the tests again. This will ensure that all the components of the web site have been copied.

It is expected that all the amendments to the site requested by the customer will be made quickly allowing the site will settle down during the first month, after which ongoing care will take over.

This first month is also the period during which efforts will be made to get the site recognised by multiple search engines.
