Content Management

Once your site is live, it is important that the content is right up to date. Of course you can always e-mail HazelGold with your revised information and it will be added as a part of the contract for ongoing care.

For simplicity wouldn't it be good if you could put the new information straight into your own website? This is where content management systems can be used. The term Content Management can be used to describe any web page where content is supplied on-line via your web browser.

HazelGold provides News pages, On-line diaries and Guest books each of which take content via forms and publish it directly and immediately onto a public website.

We can now supply a software package (from Macromedia - a major web software company) which works a bit like a web browser and a bit like Microsoft's Word. This is used to update a live website directly, without any knowledge of web coding etc.

Using this software it is also possible, if required, to add pictures and insert new pages with the same design as the rest of the web site.

HazelGold will supply the software and provide passwords and also, if required, install it and provide simple training.
